Table Mountains

This natural world heritage site, and Natural New 7 Wonder of the World, is a haven of magnificent mountains plunging into crystal seas fringed with bleached white sands of the Cape Peninsula. Table Mountain National Park (TMNP) stretches 70km from Signal Hill and Table Mountain in the north to Cape Point in the south and includes a Marine Protected Area and many of the beaches around the Peninsula.

Cape of Good Hope

The southernmost tip of South Africa’s Cape Peninsula is called the Cape of Good Hope. It is known for the stormy weather and rough seas encountered there. One of the southernmost points in Africa, it is among the most famous capes in maritime history.

Boulders Beach for Penguin Viewing

Boulders Beach remains the only place in the world where one can get up close to African penguins, it is a special place for sure. Penguin viewing is made easier by boardwalks that lead visitors across the beaches as well as to an information centre, which is managed by SANParks.
