Ishasha wilderness is the southern part of Queen Elizabeth national park famous for harbouring the tree-climbing lions and central African species including the Congo buffalo. The area is located along the borders of Uganda with Virunga national park in DR Congo and therefore serves as a wildlife corridor, allowing species to move freely across habitats.

Day 1: Arrive to Entebbe
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will meet your tour guide. Arrival in the morning or early afternoon flight will depend. You will be able to exchange money and then settle in at your accommodation and dinner.
Day 2: Kampala City Tour
Pick up from your hotel and take a tour of Kampala City. Visit some of the places that tell the history of Kampala and these include the Uganda Museum, Kabaka’s Lake, Kabaka’s Palace in Mengo, President Amin’s torture chambers, Lubaga Cathedral, Parliament of Uganda, Gaddafi Mosque, crafts Village and depending if it’s a weekend, crown the evening with a visit to the Ndere Cultural Centre for a Ugandan cuisine and performances of the Ugandan Cultural dances and songs.
Day 3: Jinja Tour and Rafting (optional)
After an early breakfast, you will go to Jinja for the exciting full day of White-Water Rafting on the Nile. You will leave Jinja late in the afternoon and have dinner  in Kampala.
Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Depart Kampala at 7.00am- to head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the western part of Uganda with a stopover at the Equator; Lunch will be enroute in Mbarara then to Bwindi. Buhoma Community Banda’s and take an optional Buhoma Village walk at an extra fee per person OR relax enjoying the evening till dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
You will embark on the long-awaited adventure of Gorilla trekking in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The jungle being unpredictable, it is difficult to estimate how long you may hike; however, the excursion may take 3-10 hours. Encounter and viewing of Gorillas lasts a maximum of one hour, which is a conservation rule. Dinner and Buhoma Community Banda’s.
Day 6: Bwindi to Ishasha Tree-Climbing Lions
After your breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha section where you might be lucky and see the tree-climbing lions of Ishasha.
Day 7: Game drive and Boat cruise
Do an early morning game drive in the Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will be able to see different species of animals including antelopes, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, leopards, etc…
After lunch, embark on the boat launch along the Kazinga Channel which connects two Lakes Edward and George where you will see many bird spices and lots of hippos. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 8: Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Mburo National Park where you will have an evening nature walk game.
Day 9: Ndere Centre
After breakfast, you will drive to Kampala and in the evening depending if it’s a weekend, crown it with a visit to the Ndere Cultural Centre for a Ugandan cuisine and performances of the Ugandan Cultural dances and songs.
Day 10: Departure for Entebbe International Airport
Catch your flight back home. Our Company representative will see you off.
