The Masai Mara is the ultimate Kenya and East Africa park. Renowned for its vast acacia accented savannahs, the Mara is most famous for witnessing the great migration. This is the largest movement of wildlife on the planet with a flood of over a million wildebeest, zebra and impala seeking fresh vegetation after the rains.
Throughout your 4-day flight safari you’ll be treated to multiple game viewing drives. Be on the lookout for Africa’s Big Five game as the park is famous for hosting these large predators. In addition to lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino, there will be opportunities to view cheetah, hyena and jackal.

Day 1: Nairobi – transfer to Tsavo West by flight
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel at 6a.m and transfer to Wilson Airport for a 7.30am flight to Tsavo West. Arrive and be met by camp’s guide who drives you to the camp. You will have a game drive after lunch.
Day 2: Tsavo Finch Hattons – Full day
Have morning and afternoon game drives and sun downer on this day.
Day 3: Tsavo West – Transfer to Nairobi – Mara by flight
Have early breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a flight to Nairobi departing at 8.30a.m. Arrive in Nairobi at 9.50a.m and connect with a 10.15a.m flight to Mara. Upon landing, be met by camp’s guide and transfer to the camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive is at 4p.m.
Day 4: Maasai Mara – Morning and afternoon game drives
Have two game drives; pre-breakfast and after lunch.
There is an option this morning for an early morning hot air balloon safari (at an extra charge). Depart the camp at 5.15am to the Balloon Safari take off site. This is an hour ride across the plains of the Mara. On landing enjoy a champagne bush breakfast; freshly cooked in the middle of the Mara plains. Thereafter, have a game drive back to camp. Spend the morning relaxing before lunch at the camp. An afternoon game drive is at 4p.m.
Day 5: Maasai Mara – Morning and afternoon game drives
Have two game drives; pre-breakfast and after lunch.
Optional Activities:Â Guided walk, sun downer, bush breakfast and Maasai Village visit.
Day 6: Maasai Mara – Transfer to Nairobi by flight
Have an early morning game-drive at sunrise, followed by breakfast at the camp. Thereafter be transferred to the airstrip for a mid-morning flight to Nairobi. Have lunch and later be dropped at your hotel or airport.
